Abstract

Ovarian pregnancy is a rare type of non tubal ectopic pregnancy. 27-years-old primigravida with 2 months of amenorrhea was diagnosed with ectopic pregancy on routine ultrasonography, but had ruptured right ovarian ectopic pregnancy intraoperatively. The similar symptomatology to ectopic tubal pregnancy makes preoperative diagnosis difficult. Laparoscopy is the standard management method for haemodynamically stable patients with ovarian ectopic preganncy. Resection of the ectopic pregnancy and preserving the ovary is the main stay of management in ovarian ectopic pregnancy.
